“Well informed locally – which local journalism do we want to afford?“
Who wants to pay for local information these days? What challenges must local online media face? And how can local offers be financed?
These and other questions about local journalism were discussed at the fourth “Regional Day“ of the LfM Foundation Vor Ort NRW in Bielefeld on March 28, 2017.
Our founder Sebastian Penthin accepted the invitation from Vor Ort NRW to the podium of the regional day and had the opportunity to talk with the local media makers on site about the contemporary local journalism.
In addition to Sebastian for Lokalportal participated in the discussion:
- Timo Fratz, Radio Bielefeld
- Carsten Heil, Neue Westfälische
- Marlene Rathgeber, Paderkind.de
- Simone Jost-Westendorf, Vor Ort NRW
